Resource Circulation

SERVEONE strives to save energy, reduce water consumption, and manage waste and hazardous materials for resource circulation.
We are practicing environmental management by installing LED lighting, introducing a water reuse system, and recycling resources through waste recycling.
Energy Saving SERVEONE strives to establish an efficient energy management system. At our Gumi, Changwon, and Paju logistics hubs, we replaced the lighting from induction and fluo escent lamps with LEDs, reducing total power consumption by 80.7 kW and eliminating 287 lights. For our Pyeongtaek, Cheongju, and Yeosu hubs, we installed LED lighting at the time of construction, resulting in an annual power savings of 405,792 kWh.

In addition, for the Paju, Gumi, and Changwon hubs, where the air-conditioning systems are more than 10 years old, we have signed consignment contracts with companies specializing in air-conditioning systems to prevent energy losses due to aging equipment.

Other highlights of SERVEONE's efforts to prevent power wastage and build a national consensus on the climate crisis include lunchtime and nighttime power shutdowns at its Gwanghwamun headquarters and the Earth Hour campaign to turn off all lights on the ground floor of its headquarters.  SERVEONE will continue striving to ensure that no energy is wasted through continuous improvement.

Water Management As part of its efforts to reduce water consumption, SERVEONE has implemented wastewater reuse systems at its logistics hubs. Since 2016, the company has invested KRW 250 million to build a gray water system to recycle water by using rainwater for plumbing, landscaping, and cleaning.

Waste and Hazardous Materials Management SERVEONE works with external contractors for waste disposal. Depending on the type of waste, waste generated at the Pyeongtaek, Yeosu and Paju hubs is shredded and recycled by contractors, while waste generated at the Changwon, Cheongju and Gumi hubs is incinerated and reported to the All-Baro system.
